Jakarta, Indonesia – Cuprum Industries Indonesia (Cuprum) announces transformative results from a comprehensive field test of its advanced engine oil based on Neol CuGlideTM technology – Cuprum SAE40, in diesel engines of Hino FM260JD Dump Trucks at a nickel mining site in Sulawesi. The study, spanning October 2022 to December 2023, demonstrated a remarkable reduction in fuel consumption, lower maintenance costs and minimized downtime.
Utilizing Cuprum’s metal-plating lubricants and additives, the test trucks experienced an average fuel consumption reduction of 23.1% to 34.3% and a maintenance cost saving of approximately 36.80%. These results demonstrate Cuprum’s commitment to operational excellence and support sustainable mining practices by reducing fuel usage and minimizing environmental impact.
The successful completion of the field test has led to a commercial agreement with PT Bumi Konawe Minerina (BKM) and PT Tambang Meranti Mulia Sejahtera (TMMS). This agreement outlines the utilization of Cuprum Lubricants in a broader range of equipment on commercial terms.
